How does my social media presence factor into SEO? +
Social media does not directly affect your Google rankings. Google has confirmed that likes, followers, and shares are not ranking factors. However, social media impacts SEO in several indirect ways that matter. Content that performs well on social gets shared, linked to, and talked about, all of which build the backlinks and brand mentions that do affect rankings. A strong social presence makes your brand more recognizable in search results, which improves click-through rates. However, a new account typically needs 30 to 90 days to accumulate enough conversion data for the bid strategy to optimize effectively. During that learning period, we monitor performance closely, adjust bids manually, and refine targeting based on early search term data. Most clients see meaningful improvement in cost per lead or ROAS within the first 60 days.
What is a good ROAS for Google Ads? +
A good ROAS depends entirely on your margins. A business with 60% gross margins can sustain a lower ROAS than one running at 20%. As a general benchmark, most e-commerce accounts target a blended ROAS of 3x to 6x, meaning $3 to $6 in revenue for every $1 spent on ads. When set up poorly, it burns budget on low-quality traffic with limited visibility. For a new site or a site starting from scratch, you should expect 3 to 6 months before meaningful organic traffic begins to build. For established sites with existing authority, improvements from technical SEO and content additions can show up in 4 to 8 weeks. Local SEO, especially Google Business Profile optimization, can produce map pack visibility faster than organic rankings. SEO is a compounding investment, the results grow over time and do not stop when you stop paying for ads.
What is local SEO and do I need it? +
Local SEO is the practice of optimizing your online presence to appear in searches with local intent, like "home services near me" or "plumber near me" or "roof repair South Jersey". What is the difference between ACOS and TACOS? +
ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sales) measures your ad spend as a percentage of ad-attributed revenue only. TACOS (Total Advertising Cost of Sales) measures ad spend as a percentage of total revenue including organic. ACOS tells you how efficient your ads are. TACOS tells you whether advertising is actually building your business. A brand with improving TACOS over time is building organic rank that reduces its dependence on advertising. We track both but use TACOS as the north star metric for Amazon account health.
Do I need Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display or just Sponsored Products? +
For most sellers starting out, Sponsored Products should be the foundation and the majority of budget. Once Sponsored Products are running efficiently, Sponsored Brands add value by capturing branded search traffic and placing your brand at the top of category results. Sponsored Display is most useful for retargeting product page viewers and competitor product placements. The right mix depends on your category, budget, and whether you are in launch mode or scaling a mature product.

Will my website rank on Google after you build it? +

Can I just do Google Shopping, or should I do Bing Shopping as well? +
You can absolutely run Google Shopping on its own and get strong results. But adding Bing Shopping on top of it is one of the easiest incremental wins in e-commerce advertising. Microsoft Shopping works almost identically to Google Shopping, your product feed powers the ads, and the setup is minimal once your Google campaigns are already running. The CPC on Bing is typically 20 to 35% lower than Google for equivalent searches, and the competition is lighter. What is a product feed and why does it matter? +
A product feed is the data file that powers Google Shopping, Bing Shopping, and Meta Dynamic Product Ads. It contains your product titles, descriptions, images, prices, categories, and identifiers. Google uses this data to decide when and where to show your products. A poorly optimized feed with weak titles, missing GTINs, or wrong categories means your products appear for fewer searches at a higher cost. Optimizing a product feed, especially the titles, is one of the single highest-leverage improvements you can make to any Shopping or DPA campaign.
How important are reviews for e-commerce products? +
Extremely important. On Amazon, review count and rating directly affect organic ranking, conversion rate, and the cost of your ads. A bamboo pillow with 500 reviews and a 4.8 rating will convert at a significantly higher rate than an identical product with 12 reviews, which means your advertising costs less to achieve the same result. On your own site and on Google, reviews improve local SEO rankings and click-through rates. Building a systematic review generation program is one of the compounding investments in e-commerce that pays dividends across every channel simultaneously.

Do you require long-term contracts? +
We do not lock clients into rigid long-term contracts. Paid search management typically works best with a minimum 90-day commitment to allow campaigns to fully optimize, but we do not hold clients hostage past the point where the work is delivering value. SEO and web projects are scoped per project or on a monthly retainer with reasonable notice periods. Our goal is to earn the continued relationship through results, not contractual obligation.
How do you report on performance? +
Every active client gets a monthly performance report covering every channel we manage. Reports are written in plain language with specific commentary on what changed, why it changed, and what we are doing about it. We do not send automated exports or dashboards full of vanity metrics. We track the numbers that matter to your business: revenue, ROAS, cost per acquisition, conversion rate, organic ranking movement, and lead volume. You always know exactly how your investment is performing.
Will I be working directly with you or passed off to a team? +
Directly with me. Baz Promotions is not a large agency with layers of account managers between you and the person actually doing the work. When you reach out, you reach Mike directly. When strategy decisions get made, Mike makes them. When you have a question at 9pm before a big campaign launch, you can text.
